ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (June 13, 2021) – Saturday night, Darryl Hatcher, 59, died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 14 and Avenue A.
According to reports, the crash between two motorcycles happened at 11:49 p.m. Moreover, CHP Officer Patrick Kimball said that it happened southbound on Aerospace Highway just south of Avenue A.
Apparently, Mr. Hatcher rode a 2018 Indian Chieftain Elite, when his bike struck the back of a 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide
Kimball confirmed that the motorcyclist, of La Canada Flintridge, died at the scene.
The motorcycle rider of the Harley was also ejected from his bike.
As a result, responders transported the other biker, a 47-year-old man of Los Angeles residence, to Antelope Valley Hospital. He sustained moderate injuries.
Also, the officers continue to look for another motorcyclist who might have been thrown onto northbound lanes during the crash.
The officers also checked Antelope Valley Hospital to determine whether a civilian brought a crash victim.
