PINON HILLS, CA (October 21, 2019) – A Pinon Hills man died in a head-on motorcycle accident on Highway 138 on October 18.
 
53-year-old Darren Stahl rode a 2015 Kawasaki Voyager east on Highway 138, near Silver Rock Road around 5:24 am.
 
The motorcycle crashed head-on with a 20-year-old Pinon Hills woman driving a 2013 Chevy Cruze.
 
The authorities revealed that the Cruze driver let her vehicle travel from westbound traffic into eastbound traffic, into the Darren Stahl’s path.
 
Stahl died at the scene. Meanwhile, the female driver suffered minor injuries.
 
The Victorville CHP is currently investigating the crash. They are urging anyone with information r to call (760) 241-1186.
