68-Year-Old Fresno Woman Fatally Struck by Pickup Truck near Millbrook Avenue

FRESNO, CA (October 11, 2018) – On Thursday afternoon, a woman was struck and killed by a pickup truck on Shield Avenue. The deceased victim has been identified as 68-year-old Darlene Dalton of Fresno.

Police officials stated that Dalton was in the crosswalk at Millbrook Avenue when a pickup truck making a right-hand turn onto Shields struck her. The driver was said to have a green light at the time of the collision.

Officers do not consider drugs or alcohol to be involved a factor in the incident, and the driver is not facing any charges at this time. Authorities are still conducting an investigation, and no further details have been disclosed.
