26-Year-Old Darion Thomas Arrested in Murdock Road Fatal Collision [Dallas, TX]

Dallas, TX (March 11, 2024) – 26-year-old Darion Thomas was arrested following a Murdock Road fatal collision Sunday morning.

Dallas Police officers received reports of kidnapping and a major collision in the early hours of March 10 at 1300 Murdock Road.

When they arrived, rescuers located a woman lying on the street.

Investigating officers said Thomas had carjacked the vehicle occupied by the woman. Thomas sped away with the victim trapped inside, but he lost control, and the vehicle collided with a pole.

Troopers arrested Thomas and transported him to a nearby medical facility. He is charged with murder and theft. They booked him at the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
