Moorpark Man Dario Nicacio Medina Killed in Highway 126 Accident [Filmore, CA]

Filmore, CA (August 28, 2024) – 45-year-old Dario Nicacio Medina of Moorpark was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 126 late Saturday night.

CHP officers received the crash report at 11:53 p.m. east of Trestle Way.

Troopers stated a 37-year-old Santa Clarita woman was westbound in a Volkswagen Jetta when the pedestrian ran north across traffic lanes in front of the vehicle.

Sadly, the pedestrian, Dario Nicacio Medina, was struck fatally hit.

Investigators said the pedestrian was killed due to multiple blunt force injuries.

Moreover, CHP officers the driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs when the collision happened and the car was traveling about 50 mph.

A friend of the pedestrian said they had been fishing and were trying to cross the roadway.
