Danny Silva Dies in Wrong-Way Crash on 10 Freeway [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (January 23, 2022) – On Saturday, 27-year-old Danny Silva died in a wrong-way crash on 10 Freeway which also injured another driver.

Officers responded to the crash scene at 4:25 a.m. on the eastbound freeway, west of La Cienega Boulevard.

Officers said Silva was driving a westbound white 2018 Mazda MX5 Miata roadster in eastbound lanes.

His vehicle went directly toward a black 2012 Infinity EX35 SUV driven by a 54-year-old Los Angeles man. 

Moreover, the SUV driver swerved to the right trying to avoid the roadster. However, it still collided with the SUV head-on. 

Unfortunately, Silva died at the scene. 

On the other hand, the SUV driver sustained moderate injuries. 

Reports said that both Silva and the other driver were the sole occupants in their vehicles.
