Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Florida Avenue Under Investigation
Midland, TX (July 20, 2024) On Friday afternoon, 43-year-old Danny Glen Howl of Midland died in a horrific auto-pedestrian crash on Dallas Street.
According to the Midland Police Department, the fatal accident happened at about 5 p.m. at the intersection of Dallas Street and Florida Avenue.
Reports say that an eastbound 1994 Chevrolet 1500 tried to avoid a collision with another vehicle, however, the truck instead struck Howl, who was crossing the intersection.
Officials say that Howl was rushed to Midland Memorial Hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the fatal pedestrian accident and have not released additional information at this time.
