Army Veteran Daniel Mosher Dies After Crash on 36th Street in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (June 11, 2024) – In late May, a vehicle struck and killed Army veteran Daniel Mosher while he was using a crosswalk near 36th Street and Thomas Road.
Mosher, who was 66 years old and in a wheelchair, was identified by his family members who informed ABC15.
Jessica Smith, Mosher’s daughter, expressed her grief: “We’re so far away, I couldn’t give him a hug, I couldn’t kiss him.” The crash occurred around 6 a.m. on May 29, according to Phoenix police.
The suspect’s name and potential charges remain undisclosed, but authorities confirmed the driver stayed at the scene.
Smith added, “We still don’t know much about that situation besides the guy was not drunk.”
Mosher’s other daughter, Connie Fox, shared her sorrow, saying she will miss everything about her father, especially his smile and his stories.
“It’s hard, it’s very hard,” she said.
The family has started a GoFundMe to help transport Mosher’s remains back to Michigan.
