Truck Driver Daniel Marquez Involved in Interstate 8 Fatal Collision [El Centro, CA]

El Centro, CA (August 10, 2024) – 51-year-old Daniel Marquez, of San Luis, Arizona, was involved in an Interstate 8 fatal collision Monday.

It was about 9:35 a.m. when a 37-year-old man was riding a westbound Harley David’s motorcycle on the freeway.

At the same time, a Ford F-450 also traveling west on the same highway.

The Ford driver failed to see the motorcycle and ran into it. 

Sadly, the motorcycle rider was killed in the accident.

Troopers are investigating.
