FAA and NTSB Investigate Fatal Cessna Plane Crash near Buckeye Municipal Airport
Buckeye, AZ (June 19, 2022) – Saturday morning, 56-year-old Daniel Keen and 32-year-old Emmanuel Flores died in a Cessna plane crash near the Buckeye Municipal Airport.
The fatal crash in Buckeye happened at around 7 a.m. on June 18.
Reportedly, emergency crews responded to an area just outside the Buckeye Municipal Airport due to a down aircraft.
Authorities then found two men on board. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and later identified as Keen.
EMS immediately transported Flores to the hospital in critical condition where he later died.
No additional information on what led to and the circumstances of this fatal incident at this time.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the cause.
