2 People Dead in McAllen Auto Accident on 12th Street and W. Pecan Boulevard

MCALLEN, TX (December 30, 2023) – Friday morning, Daniel Guadalupe Saenz and Nathan Gower Schwarz died in a crash on 12th Street and W Pecan Boulevard.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 2:04 a.m. on 12th Street and W Pecan Boulevard.

According to McAllen Police, a westbound vehicle lost control for still unknown reasons and collided with a pole.

Moreover, responders rushed the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Daniel Guadalupe Saenz of McAllen, and his passenger, 40-year-old Nathan Gower Schwarz of Pharr, to a local hospital where both of them were pronounced dead.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the McAllen Police continued to investigate the crash.
