2 People Injured in Gold Hill Auto Accident on Lotus Road
GOLD HILL, CA (August 11, 2021) – Thursday, authorities arrested Daniel Gene Lee following a DUI crash on Lotus Road.
The incident happened at around 6:35 p.m. when 41-year-old Daniel Gene Lee drove a Ford Ranger. As he traveled south on Lotus Road, he struck a Kia Soul traveling north.
As a result, the Kia’s driver and passenger suffered major injuries. Thus, an ambulance took them to an area hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, after receiving treatment for his injuries at Marshall Hospital, officers took Lee to jail.
The CHP booked the Shingle Springs man after determining that he drove under the influence.
Also, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office listed Lee’s bail at $325,000. His charges include driving under the influence with prior DUI convictions.
