Daniel Estrada Struck and Killed by Car on Echelon Avenue near Pocono Street (Industry, CA)

Daniel Estrada Identified in Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Industry

INDUSTRY, CA (February 5, 2019) – A 39-year-old male pedestrian died after being struck by a car in the City of Industry Saturday night.

In a written statement, the California Highway Patrol identified the victim as 39-year-old Daniel R. Estrada of Valinda. It was reported that at 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, Estrada was walking eastward across Echelon Avenue when he was hit by a southbound 2010 Subaru Impreza.

Paramedics transported Estrada to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the car, a 23-year-old man from La Puente, was not able to avoid Estrada and struck him, as per CHP. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated in the investigation.

The pedestrian accident remains under investigation. CHP is urging anyone who may have witnessed or has information about the collision to call their Baldwin Park-area office at (626) 384-1164.
