Two Anacortes Men Airlifted to Hospital after Rollover Crash on A Avenue
ANACORTES, WA (March 25, 2018) – A rollover collision took place on Sunday night around 10:13 PM at Havekost Road, resulting in a totaled vehicle and two injured men.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Daniel Engan, 27, was heading southbound on Havekost and A Avenue, when his car left the road and struck a power pole. The impact caused the sedan to roll over until it came to rest on its roof. There is no update on the current condition of the two men.
Officials and emergency personnel arrived at the scene of the accident and extricated Engan and his 26-year-old passenger, Michael O’Connell from the wreckage. Both occupants were airlifted to the Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
Troopers are suspecting that the crash might have been DUI-related. They also stated that vehicular assault charges can be expected. No other information is available at this time.
