54-Year-Old Bicyclist Hospitalized after Collision near Highland Springs Road
LAKEPORT, CA (November 5, 2018) – On Monday, a man was seriously injured in a bike accident on East Highland Springs Road. The injured victim was identified as 54-year-old Daniel Dever of Kelseyville.
According to reports, Dever was riding his 15-speed bicycle northbound on E Highland Springs Road, just south of Highland Springs Road. For unknown reasons, he veered off the road and struck a barbed wire fence.
California Highway Patrol officials stated that the cyclist was not wearing any safety gear and sustained major injuries in the collision. He was airlifted to the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, but there is no update on his current medical condition.
