Man Injured in Turlock DUI Accident on W Main Street and N Orange Street
TURLOCK, CA (September 21, 2022) – Sunday morning, authorities arrested Daniel Anzures following a hit-and-run crash on W Main Street and N Orange Street.
According to the Turlock Police Department, the incident happened at around 3:39 a.m. Also, the collision occurred at the intersection of W Main Street and N Orange Street.
Reports revealed that a white BMW and a black Toyota sedan collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the BMW sedan driver, 23-year-old Daniel Anzures, fled the scene on foot before responders arrived at the scene. Also, officers confirmed that Anzures called and claimed that he wanted to surrender and was near a church in the area. Moments later, officials located Anzures in the 300 block of S Laurel Street.
Moreover, officers arrested Anzures after he failed a standardized field sobriety test. Also, responders performed first aid treatment on the Toyota driver with minor injuries.
Furthermore, authorities booked Anzures into Stanislaus County Public Safety for hit and run with injuries. Meanwhile, driving under the influence of alcohol caused the injury.
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
