Hit-and-Run Car Fatally Strikes Dania Campos in North Hills
NORTH HILLS, CA (August 4, 2019) – A woman died in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning in North Hills.
Authorities identified the victim Tuesday as Dania Campos, 40, of North Hills.
Campos died at the scene of the crash that occurred around 12:05 a.m. on Roscoe Boulevard near Haskell Avenue.
According to police, a black vehicle traveling westbound on Roscoe Boulevard struck Campos as she walked outside a crosswalk. However, the driver did not stop nor render aid after the crash.
A reward of up to $50,000 is offered to anyone who provides information leading to the driver’s identification, apprehension and conviction, according to the LAPD.
