Woman Injured in Deadly Crash in Corrigan

Corrigan, TX (September 24, 2024) Dameon Maleek Love, 20, of Corrigan, was killed in a collision on Highway 287 Friday night.

It was about 9:45 p.m. when the SUV vs. motorcycle crash happened.

Officers said the motorcycle driver, Dameon Maleek Love, was transported to CHI Memorial Hospital in Lufkin where he was declared deceased.

Meanwhile, the motorcycle passenger Ashley Nicole Armstead, 33, of Livingston, was airlifted to a Houston hospital with unknown injuries.

The SUV driver, Latisha Dianna Brown, 45, of Corrigan, was not hurt in the collision.

The Corrigan Police Department is investigating the cause of the deadly crash.
