Pickup Truck Crashes into Tractor-Trailer near Glen Helen Parkway
FONTANA, CA (April 26, 2019) – Two vehicles sustained damage Friday morning following a rear-end crash on Interstate 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Glen Helen Parkway, at about 5:25 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, a pickup truck crashed into the rear of a southbound tractor-trailer.
The impact of the crash caused the pickup truck to become embedded into the truck. At about 6:45 AM, the CHP issued a SigAlert due to the collision blocking no. 3 and no.4 lanes for almost an hour.
No injuries were suffered in the crash, which remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Further details will be released to the public once they become available.
