DUI Driver Crashes into Tree in Solo-Car Accident near North De Wolf Avenue
CLOVIS, CA (March 20, 2019) Damage was sustained in a DUI car crash on East Shepherd Avenue, Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 2:56 PM, near the intersection of North De Wolf Avenue. Based on an initial report, a drunk driver was involved in the solo-car accident. The suspect was reckless driving before his vehicle went through a fence and hit a tree in an orchard.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. Based on an assessment, no injury was recorded in the commotion. The DUI driver was immediately released from the hospital after a check-up.
The amount of damage was still being assessed by the authorities. Clearing and cleaning operations were conducted in the area.
