DUI Driver Involved in Rollover Collision near 805 Freeway
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 10, 2019) – Damage was sustained in a DUI car crash on eastbound 8 Freeway on Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 9:28 PM, near the southbound 805 Freeway connector. Based on an initial report, two vehicles were involved in the incident. A drunk driver struck another vehicle causing it to overturn in the lanes.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They confirmed that no one was hurt in the incident.
All lanes were temporarily closed while a clearing operation was conducted in the area. The overturned vehicle was also checked for fluid leaks. Clearing and cleaning operations were requested in the area.
The amount of damage sustained by the vehicles was still being assessed. No further details have been released to the public, as investigation continues.
