DUI Driver Involved in Collision near Petaluma Boulevard

 
PETALUMA, CA (January 27, 2019) – Damage was sustained in a hit-and-run crash on northbound Highway 101, early Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:06 AM, just south of Petaluma Boulevard. Based on their report, a white SUV was speeding before it rear-ended another vehicle and crashed into the center divider. One party had been drinking prior to the collision. It was not clear if the suspect was the one who left the scene after the crash.
 
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. Fortunately, no injury was recorded from the involved motorists.
A clearing operation was conducted in the area. An investigation is ongoing to verify all information related to the accident.
