2 People Hurt in Bellmead Auto Accident on Interstate 35 near Wheeler Street

BELLMEAD, TX (July 31, 2024) – Monday afternoon, authorities arrested Dalyn Christopher Montoya after a startling DWI crash on Interstate 35.

The incident happened at the 1500 block of North Interstate 35 access road, near the Wheeler Street intersection.

According to reports, a silver Dodge Charger rear-ended a second vehicle, which in turn struck a third vehicle.

Responders transported two victims to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest with unknown injuries.

Officers arrested the driver of the Dodge, identified as 29-year-old Montoya, for two counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
