Dakotah OReily Arrested in Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash on Kusel Road [Oroville, CA]

1 Person Dead in Oroville Auto Accident on Kusel Road

OROVILLE, CA (February 25, 2024) – Saturday morning, authorities arrested Dakotah ORieley after a fatal single-vehicle crash on Kusel Road.

The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. on Kusel Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound vehicle veered off the roadway and struck the bridge for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities said that the driver of the vehicle and one of his passengers, identified as Richard Overturf, managed to exit the vehicle on their own. Then, paramedics pronounced one other passenger of the vehicle, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver for vehicle manslaughter and fleeing the scene of an accident resulting in injury and/or death.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the authorities ask anyone with details about the crash to call CHP at 530-332-1230.
