1 Person Hurt in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Stockdale Highway near Garnsey Avenue

BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 22, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, authorities arrested Daisy Gonzalez after an alarming DUI crash on Stockdale Highway near Garnsey Avenue.

The incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. at the 3700 block of Stockdale Highway near Garnsey Avenue.

According to the Bakersfield Police, a vehicle struck a 45-year-old woman who was getting into a vehicle parked along Stockdale Highway.

Moreover, responders transported the victim to a hospital with moderate to major injuries.

Furthermore, authorities arrested the driver of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Gonzalez, for felony DUI.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
