Chula Vista, CA (September 3, 2020) – Thursday evening, a cyclist sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash in the 100 block of East J Street in Chula Vista.
 
The crash happened at about 7:15 p.m. on September 2.
 
Reportedly, a cyclist was riding on East J Street when he was struck by an SUV, a 2017-20 white Honda CRV.
 
However, the SUV driver immediately fled the scene heading eastbound on East J Street.
 
As a result, the victim suffered injuries to his arm and back.
 
Police say the 2017-20 white Honda CRV has a missing passenger-side mirror. No description of the driver is known this time.
