VICTORVILLE, CA (May 19, 2020) – Early Sunday morning, police arrested Curtis Hubbard after a multi-vehicle crash on the 15 Freeway.

According to reports, the crash occurred on May 17 at around 12:13 a.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway and Bear Valley Road in Victorville.

A witness revealed that a speeding sedan lost control and crashed into the center divider, causing the collision.

When a black Jeep driver noticed the initial crash, he tried to swerve and avoid the collision. However, he steered into the path of an 18-wheel tractor-trailer.

Unfortunately, the tractor-trailer driver couldn’t stop in time.

As a result, both of the vehicles collided through a chain-linked fence before stopping on Amargosa Road, along the 15 Freeway.

However, he is no longer in custody.

The multi-vehicle crash led authorities to shut down Amargosa Road in both directions for a short period to let the semi and the roadway to be cleared.
