1 Hurt and 1 Arrested in Palm Desert Car Accident
PALM DESERT, CA (May 16, 2019) – A person sustained injuries while another is arrested after a DUI car collision on Cook Street.
Authorities booked 64-year-old Curt Johnson on suspicion of DUI and causing bodily injury. Johnson of Mountain Center was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence. In addition, he was charge with causing a collision that injured another motorist.
Authorities arrested Johnson after the 11:30 a.m. crash near the intersection of Cook Street and Country Club Drive on May 14.
Medical responders transported the injured driver to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Johnson didn’t suffer any injury. However, he is at the Indio jail in lieu of $50,000 bail and is expected in court Thursday.
