Crystal Rubio Dead in Bakersfield Car Accident on East Panama Lane

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 14, 2020) – On Monday afternoon, 24-year-old Crystal Nicole Rubio died following a crash on Panama Lane near Cottonwood Road in Bakersfield, California.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, at around 3:30 p.m., a woman driving a sedan lost control for reasons unknown. The driver over-corrected and struck the truck from the oncoming traffic.
 
Responders pronounced the woman, now identified as Ms. Rubio, dead at the scene on Panama Lane.
 
Meanwhile, the truck driver appeared to be uninjured after the fatal crash.
 
The aftermath of the incident affected traffic in both directions of Panama Lane, east of Cottonwood Road.
 
The accident on East Panama Lane remains under active investigation.
