23-Year-Old Woman Fatally Injured in Crash at Sycamore Creek Drive and Sycamore Creek Loop Parkway
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (March 24, 2018) – San Bernardino local residents are mourning the loss of 23-year-old Cristelle Nunez, who fell victim to a car collision on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened around 3:15 PM at the intersection of Sycamore Creek Drive and Sycamore Creek Loop Parkway.
The 2016 Nissan Versa driven by Nunez was attempting to enter the intersection and turned left. At the same time, a 2015 Nissan Titan, driven by a 28-year-old Fontana resident, was also entering the intersection from Sycamore Creek Drive. The two vehicles collided in the road.
An ambulance arrived to the scene and rushed Nunez to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, the Nissan Titan driver declined hospitalization.
Authorities continue to investigate the deadly incident. There is no additional information at this time.
