1 Person Hurt in El Centro Auto Accident on Interstate 8 and 4th Street

EL CENTRO, CA (October 3, 2023) – Monday morning, a crippling two-vehicle crash on Interstate 8 and 4th Street injured one person.

The incident happened at around 11:00 a.m. on Interstate 8, at the 4th Street off-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported one person to El Centro Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
