2 People Hospitalized in Tatum Auto Accident on Highway 43 and Highway 149
TATUM, TX (March 6, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a crippling two-vehicle crash on Highway 43 and Highway 149 injured two.
The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 43 and Highway 149.
According to reports, a semi-truck failed to stop at an intersection and collided with a sedan. Then, the semi continued traveling and crashed into T’s Cafe and Catering.
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the car to Longview Hospital, while paramedics airlifted the truck driver to UT Health in Tyler.
Furthermore, officers confirmed that no one was inside the business when the crash occurred.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
