Injuries Reported in Corpus Christi Traffic Accident on Highway 286 and Crosstown Expressway

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (July 30, 2023) – On Friday, a crippling two-vehicle crash on Highway 286 and Crosstown Expressway injured three people.

The incident happened on Highway 286 on the 2300 block of Crosstown.

According to the Nueces County Emergency Service District 2, a passenger car and a truck collided for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated one person trapped inside the wreckage. Then, paramedics transported a total of three people to a hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
