1 Person Hurt in San Luis Obispo Auto Accident on Highway 101 near Tassajara Creek Road
SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA (June 13, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a crippling two-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Tassajara Creek Road injured one person.
The incident happened around 8:50 a.m. on Highway 101 near Tassajara Creek Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound 2017 Honda Civic struck an eastbound 2011 Toyota Camry that pulled out in front of the Civic.
Moreover, responders transported the 83-year-old female driver of the Camry to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. Also, officers confirmed that the 47-year-old male driver of the Civic sustained minor facial abrasions and pain in his torso.
Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Mesa Police continued investigating the crash.
