BUTTE COUNTY, CA (January 24, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a crippling traffic crash on Highway 99 and Shippee Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Highway 99 at Shippee Road.

According to reports, a semi-truck failed to notice a car that stopped to make a left turn on Shippee Road and slammed into the back of the car.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the car to a hospital with back injuries.
