HESPERIA, CA (November 20, 2023) – Sunday morning, a crippling single-vehicle crash on Summit Valley Road near Telephone Canyon Road injured one person.

The incident happened on Summit Valley Road near Telephone Canyon Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue Ford 150 pickup truck attempted to pass a Ford Transit Van on the left in a no-passing area. Then, the pickup truck lost control for still unknown reasons, veered off the roadway, and struck a dirt embankment before rolling over.

As a result, responders transported the driver of the Ford pickup to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
