2 People Hurt in Fontana Auto Accident on Angel Vizcarra

FONTANA, CA (March 13, 2024) – Thursday night, Angel Vizcarra and one other person sustained injuries in a crippling single-vehicle crash on Merrill Avenue.

The incident started at around 9:22 p.m. when authorities attempted to pull over a vehicle for multiple California Vehicle Code violations.

According to reports, the pursuit started at the intersection of Catawba Avenue and Valley Boulevard and ended when the suspect failed to negotiate a dead end and struck a tree on Merrill Avenue.

Moreover, responders transported the driver of the vehicle, Vizcarra, and his female passenger, to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment, both with leg injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
