1 Hurt in San Diego Auto Accident on Market Street and Interstate 805
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 30, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a 6-year-old boy suffered injuries in a crippling single-vehicle crash on Market Street and Interstate 805.
The incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. in the center median of Market Street and Interstate 805.
According to reports, as a Toyota Yaris exited north Interstate 805 at a high rate of speed, the driver failed to slow down enough. Then, they hit a signal post in the center median.
As a result, her rear passenger, the boy suffered a right thigh fracture and was taken to a hospital.
Officers reported no other injuries in the crash.
