SANTA BARBARA, CA (June 19, 2024) – Monday night, a crippling single-vehicle crash on Highway 154 near Santa Barbara led to injuries.

The incident happened at around 6:15 p.m. on eastbound Highway 154 near Santa Barbara.

According to reports, the incident involved a vehicle that came into rest about 10 feet off the roadway.

Moreover, responders transported three occupants of the vehicle, including the female driver, to a hospital with major injuries.

Furthermore, officers detained the driver of the vehicle for still unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, the crash closed both directions of the highway but it has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
