2 People Hospitalized in Fallbrook Auto Accident on South Hill Avenue near Merida Drive
FALLBROOK, CA (June 24, 2024) – Sunday morning, a crippling rollover crash on South Hill Avenue near Merida Drive injured two people.
The incident happened at around 10:50 a.m. on South Hill Avenue near Merida Drive.
According to North County Fire Protection District Capt. John Choi, a sedan crashed and rolled over for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash ejected two occupants of the vehicle into the roadway.
Moreover, responders airlifted the two patients to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido with life-threatening injuries. Also, a third person sustained injuries but refused further treatment at the scene.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
