HOUSTON, TX (June 6, 2023) – Monday morning, a crippling road rage crash on Airline Drive led to injuries in North Houston.

The incident started at about 2:00 a.m. when a driver pulled up to a business on Airline Drive. Then, the driver began arguing with another man.

Afterward, the driver crashed into two vehicles before putting the car in reverse and hitting two women.

Then, the driver reversed again and crashed into a utility pole, and knocked out the power to the neighborhood.

Some witnesses were too upset with the driver and took matters into their own hands.

“They pulled him out of the vehicle and began assaulting him,” HPD’s Rebecca Dallas revealed.

When the authorities arrived, the driver tried to escape but an officer stunned him.

Officers noted that the driver managed to punch the officer in the face before he was taken into custody.

Moreover, they confirmed that the driver was in critical condition upon the witnesses’ attack.

Meanwhile, the two women and the officer sustained no serious injuries.
