TERRELL, TX (January 31, 2024) – Monday night, two people suffered injuries in a crippling plane accident on 2300 Airport Road.

The incident happened at around 11:50 p.m. in the 2300 block of Airport Road near the Terrell Municipal Airport.

According to reports, a Cessna fixed-wing, single-engine aircraft had departed Terrell Municipal Airport and lost engine power. Then, the pilot tried an emergency landing on Airport Road.

As a result, the pilot and passenger suffered minor injuries in the landing and have both since been treated and released.
