SAN DIEGO, CA (February 4, 2024) – Saturday night, a person suffered injuries in a crippling pedestrian crash on Paradise Valley Road near Jester Street.

The incident happened at 6:11 p.m. when a woman walked across Paradise Valley Road near Jester Street. Then, as she crossed the street and reached the curb before turning around, she stepped back into the street in front of a car.

Then, the car hit her and responders transported her to the hospital with a fractured right arm, right leg, and a pelvic fracture. Reports said that her injuries were non-life-threatening.

Meanwhile, officers do not believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.
