1 Person Hospitalized in Victorville Pedestrian Accident on La Mesa and El Evado Road

VICTORVILLE, CA (September 17, 2024) – Sunday night, a crippling pedestrian crash on La Mesa and El Evado Road injured one person.

The incident happened at around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of La Mesa and El Evado roads.

According to the Victorville Police Department, a northbound GMC pickup truck struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the male pedestrian to Victor Valley Global Medical Center with serious injuries and was later airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center for further treatment.

Furthermore, the driver of the GMC remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
