4 People Hospitalized in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 and Uvalde Road
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (November 6, 2023) – Sunday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on Interstate 10 and Uvalde Road injured four people.
The incident happened at around 1:52 a.m. on Interstate 10 at Uvalde Road.
According to the Houston Police Department, a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed struck four people who were standing near a retainer wall on the highway after being involved in an earlier accident. Then, the force of the crash pushed the vehicle to flip over, while the driver fled the scene.
Moreover, officers confirmed that two people died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported two patients to a hospital with critical injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Houston Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
