SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 15, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a crippling pedestrian crash on Geary Boulevard and Masonic Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened at around 4:35 p.m. on Geary Boulevard and Masonic Avenue.

According to reports, a Muni bus struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Authorities confirmed that the leg of the pedestrian leg stuck under the wheel of the bus.

Moreover, responders extricated and transported the pedestrian to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
