2 People Hospitalized in Napa County Pedestrian Accident on First Street near School Street

NAPA COUNTY, CA (November 27, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a crippling pedestrian crash on First Street near School Street injured two people.

The incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. at the 1400 block of First Street near the School Street intersection.

According to Officer Tommy Keener, a Rolls-Royce Cullinan struck two pedestrians before crashing into a building between the Andaz Hotel and Tarla Mediterranean Bar + Grill.

Moreover, responders transported the two female pedestrians to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries. Then, authorities said that the male driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries and was also taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.

Meanwhile, the crash closed First Street for two hours but has long since reopened.

The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
