CHICO, CA (August 7, 2024) – Monday afternoon, a crippling pedestrian crash on E 3rd Avenue and Mangrove Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened around 2:46 p.m. on E 3rd Avenue and Mangrove Avenue.

According to the Chico Police Department, a vehicle veered into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and struck a pedestrian. Then, the car struck a city traffic signal and came to rest in front of a neighboring business.
