LAREDO, TX (March 26, 2024) – Sunday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on Cross Street and S Malinche Avenue injured 1 person.

The incident happened at about 4:00 a.m. near the corner of Cross Street and S Malinche Avenue.

When first responders arrived, they found a 47-year-old woman on the ground. The victim sustained pain in her lower body and was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Meanwhile, two other women were there, an 18- and 19-year-old.

Both revealed that they were pushed aside by the vehicle and only sustained scrapes to their knees.
