Injuries Reported in Payne Springs Pedestrian Accident on Cherokee Shores Drive
PAYNE SPRINGS, TX (May 9, 2024) – Tuesday night, a crippling pedestrian crash on Cherokee Shores Drive injured 1 person.
The incident happened at about 11:51 p.m. on Cherokee Shores Drive.
When the authorities arrived, they located a woman who had been hit by an SUV and was stuck under the center of the vehicle.
The responders noted that the woman remained conscious and was able to communicate with them during the rescue operation. Using specialized tools, they carefully lifted the vehicle off of her, ensuring her safety. Subsequently, she was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The woman sustained multiple injuries, including burns from the vehicle’s exhaust. Fortunately, there were no other reported injuries in the incident.
